Design for Keeps

An answer to a designers search for the perfect side table. The jewellery of the Interior space, the finishing touches. Not the overly decorative additions, but the timeless minimal pieces that don’t scream for attention but sit beautifully alongside their counterparts.

The design philosophy for these beauties is based on the belief that when you purchase a good quality piece that it is valued, it will be kept or passed on for others to enjoy. Never destined for landfill.

The Stone edit was designed within the parameters of 500mm widths which is generally as wide as can be achieved with offcut material.

Larger pieces are cut from full slabs with offcuts being re-used for smaller pieces.

A passion for designing furniture that could be manufactured in Australia was the catalyst for the launch of S I D E S in 2020.
